Our Museum Educators can take your students on a tour of Quake City, where they'll learn all about the earthquakes' impact on the environment and people of Canterbury – and discover what the future might look like

What impact does an extreme natural event have on our environment and how did the people of Christchurch respond?

Students will be taken on a guided tour of Quake City where they will have the opportunity to discuss the processes that occurred during the Canterbury earthquakes, including the impact on our city and the social and technological responses.

Through exploration and discussion, students will understand the impact that this event has had on Canterbury and discover what the future might look like.
